Circular-economy outcome
Tonnes of regional aluminium scrap redirected into productive secondary material.

Funding & partnerships
Green finance and grants require more than a sustainable story. The project is being structured around measurable circular-economy outcomes, documented implementation needs and transparent operating assumptions.
Discuss funding cooperationGrant-ready project design
A strong application connects each euro of investment to a defined change: more recoverable material processed, lower energy per tonne, better traceability, reduced losses, safer operations or improved environmental management.
Tonnes of regional aluminium scrap redirected into productive secondary material.
Baseline and improvement plans for energy intensity, recovery yield and process losses.
Clear pre-investment baseline, target values, milestones and post-investment monitoring.
A documented route toward stronger safety, environmental management and stakeholder accountability.
Defined use of funds, implementation schedule, supplier quotations and evidence of project readiness.
Local value creation, supplier development, circular material flows and stronger Balkan industrial capacity.
Funding narrative
The project can be presented to different institutions through the outcomes most relevant to their mandate — while keeping the underlying industrial facts consistent.
Increase the productive recovery of aluminium scrap and strengthen secondary raw-material flows.
Improve resource efficiency and build a data-driven roadmap for energy and process optimisation.
Add industrial value in Kosovo and create a platform capable of serving regional and European customers.
Develop material, batch and performance data that can support quality, ESG reporting and future compliance.
Diversify sourcing and build recycling capacity within Southeast Europe rather than exporting recoverable value without processing.
Current funding landscape
These official examples show that green, digital and SME finance is active in Kosovo. They are included as a research starting point, not as a statement of Alvion Chem’s eligibility or approval.
The EU-backed Green Agenda includes circular economy, decarbonisation, depollution and private-sector development among its pillars. A recycling project can map its environmental outcomes to this policy language without implying automatic funding eligibility.
Official sourceIn 2026 the EBRD approved SME Go Green financing through TEB Kosovo for eligible SME investments in sustainability practices, recognised standards and green-economy investment. Project-specific eligibility must be confirmed with the participating institution.
Official sourceEBRD-backed on-lending in Kosovo includes automation, digitalisation, competitiveness and green technologies. This may be relevant to future sorting, monitoring, traceability or efficiency investments where eligibility criteria are met.
Official sourceRecent EBRD facilities in Kosovo include minimum allocations to Green Economy Transition-eligible sub-loans for local MSMEs. These channels demonstrate an active green-finance market but do not establish Alvion Chem eligibility by themselves.
